These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made through our third-party provider software, accessible at smile4pet.setmore.com.
1. Cancellation Policy
- Advance Notice for Cancellations: Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.
- Late Cancellations and No-Shows: If the technician arrives and no one is available, a fee of $30 may be charged for their time and expenses.
- Repeated No-Shows: Smile4Pet may retain the full payment for a second no-show.
- Refunds: Service fees are refundable if the service cannot be provided, but the $30 fee for the specialist’s time is non-refundable.
2. Initial Appointment and Charges
- Service Charges Policy: There is no charge for the appointment booking; charges apply only if the service is provided and completed. Sales tax is applied according to the location of service.
- Additional Charges for Specific Locations:
- Manhattan Customers Below 60th Street: Customers in Manhattan, NYC, may incur additional charges due to the MTA’s city TOLL program. This includes an extra toll fee for house call appointments in this area.
- Parking Compensation in NYC: Parking compensation may be requested in NYC.
- Pricing Information: Updated pricing will be listed in the “Price section” on Smile4Pet.com by 01/23/2024.
3. Booking and Confirmation
- Appointment Confirmation Process:
- Receipt of Appointment Request: You will receive an automated email acknowledging your request.
- Review and Final Confirmation: Your appointment will be reviewed and confirmed within one working day.
4. Payment Terms
- Service Charges: Detailed pricing is provided during the initial appointment or on our website. Payment is due at the time of service.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Smile4Pet accepts cash, Zelle, bank check, PayPal, credit/debit cards, ApplePay, and SamsungPay. Venmo is not accepted.
5. Service Location and Requirements
- Service Location: Services are provided inside your apartment or house.
- Access and Cooperation:
- Pet Readiness: Ensure your pet is calm and accessible for the service.
- Vaccination Requirements: Proof of necessary pet vaccinations, especially the rabies shot, is required.
- Right to Refuse Service: Service may be refused if the pet exhibits aggressive behavior.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
- Confidentiality: Personal information provided during booking is kept confidential.
- Data Protection: We comply with data protection laws. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
7. Liability and Indemnification
- Service Liability: Smile4Pet is not liable for unforeseen complications or injuries from our services.
- Indemnification: By booking, you agree to indemnify Smile4Pet from claims or damages arising from undisclosed pet behavior or health conditions.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
